Clay Creations

These clay artists created "pockets" using slabs. These pockets can be used for holding secret notes, treasures or even small plants! Pockets were embellished with stamps and various textures. Students were encouraged to both press textures in and to add pieces onto their pockets. After the glaze firing, artists used wire and beads to create a way for their pockets to hang.
