Square 1 Art

"Square 1 Art has been a popular fundraiser in the Hopkinton schools of Center, Elmwood, and Hopkins for years. This year, the highly anticipated products will be available for holiday gift-giving.

Square 1 Art is a family business that was founded and designed by a former art teacher in 2000. The company is committed to helping everyone recognize that better family-focused fundraising options exist that do not require door-to-door selling but can offer lasting, quality products to treasure for years.

This project is coordinated by the HPTA and carried out in the classroom by the art teacher. The art teacher guides students through creating their masterpieces on a special paper that is then submitted to Square 1 Art. The company then turns that artwork into magnets, key chains, framed ceramic tile, cards, hot plates, pot holders, mouse pads, calendars, aprons, mugs, t-shirts, journals, puzzles, bags, and more! Parents will have the option to purchase these items for home use or for gift-giving."                                                                                                    ~Jamie Weeden, HPTA
