Weaving It All Together

Many 2nd grade artists chose to make their simple paper weavings a little snazzier by weaving in thin strips on top of the larger strips. We learned that taping the paper "warp" to a piece of cardboard makes it easier for little fingers to maneuver the "weft" strips. Some artists chose to have their weavings laminated, so they could be used for placemats, etc.
