Children are busy making multiple copies in our printmaking center. Using a dull pencil, students create a foam printing plate. Then they roll a brayer in the color of their choice, ink their foam plate, set a paper on top and rub 'til their hands get hot! (Great friction connection by the way). Children are encouraged to make many copies (printmaking = multiple copies) and give them to the people in their lives (family members, friends, bus drivers, teachers, custodians, babysitter, etc).
